Make Texans Healthy Again (MTHA) is committed to supporting leaders who will champion prevention, nutrition, transparency, affordability, and health freedom for every Texan. Our candidate questionnaires are designed to help us identify individuals who share these priorities and who are prepared to advance meaningful reforms in the Texas Legislature and statewide offices.

Incumbents seeking an endorsement please submit a request. Our review will focus chiefly on their voting record and public actions; completing a questionnaire is optional and considered supplemental. An incumbent’s record remains the most meaningful measure of alignment with MTHA’s mission.

Questionnaires are intended for:

• Candidates in open-seat races

• Candidates seeking higher office

• Challengers running against incumbents

Endorsement Criteria

MTHA does not endorse in every race. Endorsements are made selectively and only when a candidate clearly demonstrates both:

1. Alignment with MTHA’s mission and priorities, and

2. A credible path to victory, including viable campaign infrastructure, fundraising capacity, demonstrated support, and/or key endorsements.

Candidates who wish to be considered for endorsement are encouraged to complete the appropriate questionnaire and notify our team of their interest.
